Jared Pechauer

Licensed Architect - Washington

M. Arch '16 - University of Kansas

Jared was born and raised in the Midwest, spending his early years exploring the fields and forests along the east side of the Mississippi River near St. Louis. After moving to the city in middle school, he developed a deep appreciation for the built environment while staying connected to his rural roots. He went on to earn a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas, where he focused on design-build education and digital design & fabrication. After graduating, Jared relocated to Seattle, which he has called home for nearly a decade. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong passion for high-density urban housing, with a particular focus on efficiency as a means to create more successful projects—and ultimately, more housing. His background in design-build education, along with his love of wheel thrown ceramics and hands-on home improvement projects, informs his attention to architectural detail and constructability. Outside of work, Jared enjoys cycling, enjoying Seattle’s many breweries, and tending to his backyard flock of hens.
