Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Maddie moved to Seattle in 2022 to pursue her Masters of Architecture in Seattle. Coming from the Rust Belt, she has seen the impacts of abandoned architecture in cities, leaving the people feeling forgotten. Feeling inspired by the art scene and design of Seattle, she strives to reconnect the surrounding communities with their built environment. Her passion lies in ensuring that everyone feels represented by their surroundings in a comfortable and meaningful way.
When she’s not designing buildings, you can likely still find Maddie designing, whether on her iPad or her sewing machine.
