These 8 townhomes located just south of the West Seattle Junction utilize burnt timber cladding or shou shugi ban – a unique Japanese method of wood preservation. The burnt timber cladding is juxtaposed with a modern form and contemporary white materials in order to give new life to this traditional technique.
