Cone Charlotte

Cone Charlotte is a small but dynamic team consisting of three women, led by North Carolina native and Cone Architecture Principal, Summer McEneny. After spending her first decade as an architect in Seattle, Summer returned to her home state to open Cone’s second office in the Southeast.

The Cone Charlotte team is passionate about housing design, and welcomes the opportunity to work on projects of all scales. They are dedicated to promoting affordable housing and building strong communities, hinging on the belief that quality design should be accessible to everyone. This shared conviction drives their vision to raise awareness of urban density and advocate for innovative housing solutions throughout the city of Charlotte. They are always ready to tackle the next challenge, and welcome the opportunity to collaborate with new clients throughout North and South Carolina.
